A decade of continuous improvement in PMO tooling and reporting
Verifone, over ten years of PMO and professional services leadership
The challenge
As the business grew from UK delivery to pan-European programmes, its demands on the PMO kept changing: more projects, more stakeholders and tighter financial scrutiny. Spreadsheets and manual reporting couldn't keep up.
What I did
I treated PMO tooling as a product to keep improving, not a one-off install. I introduced structured project governance and senior-stakeholder reporting, then implemented FinancialForce PSA to bring resourcing and project financials together. As the region's needs grew, I moved the PMO onto Microsoft Project Online, integrated with an in-house PMO Portal built on Power Apps, so plans, governance and reporting ran from one connected set of data.
The result
Manual effort automated across the region, consistent reporting leaders could act on, and a PMO toolset that evolved with the business rather than holding it back. That decade of lessons is what Quantum Delivery Hub is built on.
