A decade-long payments partnership with a major food retailer
Martin Brodie-Lynch, Verifone, over ten years
The challenge
A major UK food retailer needed its payment and terminal estate upgraded several times over the years, each time without stopping stores trading.
What I did
Over ten years I delivered three separate payment and terminal estate projects for the retailer, covering end-to-end project management, technical support, implementation and roll-out. I worked closely with its operations, engineering and vendor teams, and closed each project with a structured handover to BAU so its internal teams gained lasting capability.
The result
Three successful projects and a relationship renewed project after project, making it one of the longest-standing payments partnerships of my career.
